Rev. Dan Abrams was raised in Northwestern Pennsylvania and served as the lead pastor in the following Pennsylvania congregations starting in 1958: Pequea Baptist Church, First Baptist Church Lancaster County, First Baptist Church Bloomsburg, and First Baptist Church Kittanning. He and his wife then relocated to Jackson, Wyoming where he served as lead pastor at the First Baptist Church from 1972 to 1995. After his retirement in 1995, he served as interim pastor to several congregations in Montana (Bozeman, Kalispell, Helena and Livingston) and Lincolnville, Pennsylvania. He’s also served as an Associate Pastor at a large United Methodist Church in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Rev. Abrams and his wife, Claire, have two sons: David and Jonathan. They reside with their son Jonathan and his wife in Glenwood, Iowa.

Education: BA American Literature from Eastern Baptist College (Now Eastern University; Master of Theology from Eastern Baptist Seminary (Now Palmer Seminary).
